The Iglesia Ni Cristo Countdown to the Centennial is a series of commemorative activities in anticipation of and preparation for the INC’s 100th anniversary of establishment in the Philippines on July 27, 2014.
Every month starting July 2013, special commemorative activities will be held in selected districts. In retrospect of the beginnings of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, the Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo, appointed that these pre-centennial events be held in the 12 Philippine provinces that were first reached by the Church’s mission and where its first 12 ecclesiastical districts were established.
These are the following:
July 2013 - Cebu
August 2013 - Batangas
September 2013 - Quezon
October 2013 - Pangasinan
November 2013 - Bataan
December 2013 - Bulacan
January 2014 - Cavite
February 2014 - Zambales
March 2014 - Nueva Ecija
April 2014 - Laguna
May 2014 - Tarlac
June 2014 - Pampanga
Likewise, counterpart celebrations will be held in other countries to be hosted by INC districts of Canada East, Southern Midwest, Northern Midwest, Southern Europe, Northern Europe, Southeastern Seaboard, Northeastern Seaboard, Australia-Oceania, Pacific Northwest, Hawaii-Pacific, Southern California, and Northern California.
Among the activities in the Iglesia Ni Cristo Countdown to the Centennial are the INC Evangelical Mission, an exposi¬tion of the biblical teachings upheld by the Iglesia Ni Cristo;
(2) the Kabayan Ko, Kapatid Ko outreach program, which aims to extend brotherly love and care for all;
(3) the interactive art and photo exhibit called INC Life, which aims to provide an engaging glimpse of the INC’s history and faith;
(4) INCinema, a drama presentation that depicts the challenges of Christian living in this day and age; and
(5) IN-Concert, an entertaining showcase of original Christian music that in¬spires and delights the soul.
