"Ipaglaban mo nang puspusan ang pananampalataya. Panghawakan mong mabuti ang buhay na walang hanggan, dahil diyan ka tinawag ng Diyos nang ipahayag mo sa harap ng maraming saksi ang iyong pananalig kay Cristo." I Tim. 6:12

Is Jesus God?

7 comments:

  1. The Supremacy of the Son of God

    Colossians 1

15THE SON is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16FOR IN HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM. 17HE IS BEFORE ALL THINGS, and in him all things hold together. 18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

the Lord Jesus is our God who became man and have supremacy in everything "He is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead,SO THAT IN EVERYTHING HE MIGHT HAVE SUPREMACY."

and by his grace and mercy we are saved..
a simple passage that nullify your false doctrine.

    1. Thats a simple passage that was wrongly interpreted. So you mean that your God is so weak that he cannot create things by himself that he needed a CO CREATOR? Trinitraian interpretation suggest that. In verse 19 that you quoted, can i ask you, who is the "GOD" and who is "him"?

  2. God did not need a co-creator. the doctrine of the trinity does not teach that. but it teaches that the Father created everything through his Son.(John 1:10,1 Corinthians 8:6,Colossians 1:16,Hebrews 1:2) and as what Paul said by Him everything and in him all things hold together. that is God.

yes this is just a simple passage that can be understood by anyone.

19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, 20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

in KJV it says Father and other versions says God but in the greek manuscripts there is neither. http://biblehub.com/text/colossians/1-19.htm

but i dont have a problem about this because the WHOLE passage is about the Son's supremacy in everything. and Apostle Paul clearly stated that 16FOR IN HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; ALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM.

and how can all things be created THROUGH HIM if he was not BEFORE ALL THINGS and how can he be "before all things" if he is not God? only God is before all things right?

if God was pleased to have ALL HIS FULLNESS dwell in a creature only, then God created an idol. that would also mean that not all things are for him and God is not before everything, and God needed a creature co-worker ..

now let me turn the table. is your God so weak that he needed a creature to be his co-worker?

    1. This is the first time ive encountered a trinitarian saying that God has no co-creator or that the doctrine trinity doesnt teach that. Dont you find yourself heretic?

I think you should read this:

"2. Jesus was co-creator with God. John 1:3, continuing the passage above about Jesus (the Word or expression of God) "He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make" Colossians 1:15-17 says "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God He existed before God made anything at all.... Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. ... He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together.Hebrews 1:1-3 says " Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. But now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. . God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he made the universe and everything in it.""source: http://www.drreeves.com/The-Trinity

"A. Jesus Christ is our co-creator who is the exact image of God.

      1. "see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. " 2 Corinthians 4:4

      2. "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. " Colossians 1:15
      3. "And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, " Hebrews 1:3" source: http://www.bible.ca/trinity/trinity-texts-genesis1-26.htm

Do you notice that you and other trinitarians quote the same verses yet they believe Jesus is a co-creator while you believe that GOD HAS NO CO CREATOR and claim that THE DOCTRINE TRINITY DOES NOT TEACH THAT?
      ____________________________________________

You ignored my question. My question is very simple, who is "GOD" and "him" in verse 19? Ofcourse you cannot answer that coz that will disprove your claim.

Everyone who is OPENMINDED can answer to my question. The one who was addressed as "GOD" is GOD THE FATHER, and the one who was addressed as "HIM" is Jesus. Why Jesus is not addressed the way GOD THE FATHER was?

It is because of the plain truth the Jesus was NEVER ADDRESSED AS GOD or the ONLY TRUE GOD IN THE OLD AND NEW TESTAMENT.

The problem here is you wrongly interpreted the scriptures as well as trinitarians. ALL THINGS have been created through HIM and FOR HIM. This only says that everything is created FOR HIM because these will be put UNDER HIS FEET then, the SON HIMSELF will be made subject to "GOD" (the ONLY TRUE GOD not the Trinity) so that GOD may be ALL IN ALL:

24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death. 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”[c] Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ. 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all." I Cor. 15:24-28

Jesus is BEFORE ALL THINGS because even before God made the world, he is already in God's mind, even before God created the world, he already planned everything.

Our God is not weak because he is ALMIGHTY, it is your GOD that is so weak that he needed CO CREATORS (Jesus and Holy spirit) to CREATE, that means that your God is not ALMIGHTY.

  3. Kapatid na Readme, ang hirap kasi sa trinitarians, ay ito The Father is the only true God, Jesus is the only true God, and the Holy Spirit is the only true God, Three Gods if combine is equal to 1 God...

  4. TRINITARIANS DOES NOT BELIEVED THAT GOD HAS A CO-CREATOR.
TRINITARIANS BELIEVED THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD WHO CREATED EVERYTHING.
TRINITARIANS BELIEVED THAT THIS ONE CREATOR GOD IS THE FATHER CREATING THROUGH HIS SON AND HIS SPIRIT.

THE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES ARE THE ONES WHO HOLD ON THIS TYPE OF DOCTRINE.
THEY BELIEVED THAT JEHOVAH (ALMIGHTY GOD) CREATE EVERYTHING THROUGH HIS SON JESUS (MIGHTY GOD). SINCE THEY BELIEVED THAT THE FATHER AND THE SON ARE TWO DIFFERENT GODS; TO THEM GOD HAS A CO-CREATOR OF ANOTHER GOD.

    1. What i mean to my reply to Ningel Ramos is that trinitarians believe that GOD (the father, not trinity) has co creators which is Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

And as far as i know, Jehovas witnesses believe that JEHOVAH (The name of their God) is the only true God and the creator of all things. For them, Jesus is not co creator and not a GOD.

So what you stated in your comment are ALL WRONG.
