INC members cry discrimination vs. Diokno

Discrimination in INC and members in particular still doesnt come to pass, pioneer members of the church experienced this and so even up to this generation. Here is the news:

Catholic priest passes blame to Diokno
MANILA, Philippines - Close to 2,000 members of the influential Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) detained at the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) is throwing discrimination allegations against former Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) chief Ernesto Diokno and several officials of the system.
Through counsel Atty. Restituto Lazaro, the prisoners alleged Diokno did not allow them to perform worship services both at the NBP maximum and medium security compounds. The prisoners have already elevated a complaint before the Office of the Ombudsman.
Also named as respondents were Fr. Robert Olaguer, the NBP chaplain, and a certain Supt. Schwarzkopf.
The complaint alleged that Diokno and the others directed prison guards to disallow the entry of the INC minister to officiate worship services to the inmates last May 1 and 5 at around 12:45 in the afternoon, and on May 7 and 8 at 9:00 in the morning and later at 12:45 in the afternoon.
Complainants, who executed joint sworn statements, also alleged that jail guards informed them of a supposed memorandum changing the schedule of visiting days and visiting hours for religious workers.
The respondents were cited for violating the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Lazaro said they are also liable for violating provisions of the Civil Service Commission Resolution No. 991936 on Revised Uniform Rules on Administrative Cases in the Civil Service, including: gross neglect of duty, abuse of authority, unfair discrimination in rendering public service due to party's affiliation or preference and conduct grossly prejudicial to the best interest of the service.
Diokno's fault?
Complainants asked the Ombudsman to immediately place Schwarzkopf and Olaguer under preventive suspension.
In a statement, Olaguer passed the blame to Diokno.
“Diokno disallowed entry of religious volunteers from Wednesday to Sunday. He did not consult or even inform me. He gave the orders to the guards. So INC and all religious volunteers weren't able to go in including Catholic priests,” he said.
“That was 2nd week of May. All volunteers during those days were not allowed to get in. Nagtampo ako noon kasi I wasn't consulted nor informed. Nag-leave ako noon sa sama ng loob ko kay Diokno,” he said.

The INC members were the one's to respond because worship services for us is very important, not like other faiths whom go to church only when they want.

Well, we should not be surprised if these things still happen, because that's the way nonmembers persecute the INC.
