INC execs called for conscience vote(?)

by People’s Tonight
Friday, 07 May 2010 20:01
FIFTY-FOUR Visayas and Mindanao district ministers of the Iglesia ni Cristo have called for a conscience vote over the recent anointment of LP standard bearer Noynoy Aquino.
The move would break the bloc voting history of the Philippine church founded in 1914.
Ministers from Southern Philippines will ask their members to vote according to their conscience and not the recently released list of politicians endorsed by the INC.
A ranking minister representing the INC’s Conference of Southern Philippines said the church is split over the unfair decision of their leader. He said that had a consensus been done, Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo would have favored the candidacy of former Defense Minister Gilberto “Gobo” Teodoro instead.
The INC is divided into 107 ecclesiastical districts that further subdivide into local congregations headed by church ministers.
The Conference of Southern Philippines covers 1.2 million INC members in Visayas and Mindanao.
Meanwhile, Central Luzon church elders from Tarlac, in particular, pointed out that the Aquinos have disapproved of Ka Erdie’s (late father of the present church head) vision of an INC chapel in Hacienda Luisita.
A number of those killed and injured in the November 2004 Hacienda Luisita massacre were members of the Iglesia.
The Campaigns & Images Group reports that as many as 54 district leaders of the INC support the candidacy of the ruling party’s presidential bet, Gibo Teodoro, but Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo had called for a bigger advisory assembly that diluted the impact of their position in reaching the final decision.

It was published in People's Tonight, but the question is, IS THIS TRUE?
We know that not all news in the internet, TV, radio and newspapers were classified automatically as TRUE or CREDIBLE.
How can we say that?
There are mislead information and it depends on the source of every reporter. And it is every members' common sense to say this report is not true, and yes, they are correct!

WHY? I will show you!
First of all, there is no "Conference of Southern Philippines" in the INC as far as i know, and every church member knows that!
2nd, INC district ministers especially ministers are not allowed to meddle in politics and so on, for it will result to EXPULSION or getting the rights of the ministers to be in their duty FOREVER. Meaning, they will not be ministers (forever), they will just be members, that's why you noticed that some expelled ministers or (mga natanggalan ng karapatan) joined other religious groups especially on the Church of Soriano instead of remaining as ordinary members because of pride. (But you also noticed that those ministers came back on the church because they know that what they did were wrong, they even destroy the church for saying lies before)
3rd, The research team for this report was the "Campaigns & Images Group" which have an incident where their research arm "Tool & Strategy" reported a false results saying Noynoy Aquino ranked 2nd in their survey, but the truth is it is Gibo Teodoro whom is second in their survey. source: sabong.net.ph
4th, the link for that report was "http://www.journal.com.ph/index.php/national/8931-inc-execs-call-for-conscience-vote.html" but when i searched it, a different article showed up, try it! Maybe the report were erased by the site.
5th, there is no single incident that district ministers were not obeying the decision of the Church Administration and if this is true, then we, INC members, were the one's to know about it!
6th, this would be a very very BIG news because all the press' eyes were on the INC when election comes so, if this is true, then this should be PUBLISHED IN MAJOR NEWSPAPERS and even broadcasted in MAJOR TV STATIONS, but we are wondering why is it that the "People's Tonight" is the only one who have this report saying INC ministers are asking for the members to vote according to their conscience?

Why did i tackle this especially this is a past report?
Because the nonmembers were rejoicing at that time, and this has been circulated in different blogs, and forums where they accused the INC of different things! WHICH IS NOT TRUE! But why then the media will invent such things? Would that destroy their CREDIBILITY?
Ofcourse! but i know this report is "half-meant", why?
I agree with the report saying that:
"He said that had a consensus been done, Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo would have favored the candidacy of former Defense Minister Gilberto “Gobo” Teodoro instead."
and
"Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo had called for a bigger advisory assembly that diluted the impact of their position in reaching the final decision."

To be frank, we really expected on that time that Bro. Eduardo Manalo's decision would go for Gibo Teodoro, but nothing is permanent, something could change especially the reading for the official list of what will the INC endorse had not yet to come. Still, we obey the decision of the INC administration because we fully understood what being UNITED was. Not on being bias, i presented a facts from FALSE REPORTS.
I know many will keep in their mind that this report is 100% true, but i dont care to them, because their minds were corrupted by the DEVIL!

  1. Hahaha..VERY FUNNY "NEWS"...
the internal affairs of the INC do not run that way as presented on the report!

TALAGANG SA MGA NASA LABAS AY HINDI NILA NAIINTINDIHAN ang PANANAMPALATAYA ng mga kaanib sa INC, much more ng mga ministro.

I believe that they patterned their "invented news" from the "attitude" of Cardinal Sin towards the late Pope John Paul II.
Although the latter admonished the former to distance himself from politics, Cardinal Sin never heeded the call of his pope...and Sin remained in his post in spite of his "disobedience" to the late pope.

But the INC does not operate that way.
    We follow God's commandments:

    Hebrews 13:17 Living Bible
Obey your spiritual leaders and be willing to do what they say. For their work is to watch over your souls...

    Hebrews 13:17 New International Version
Obey your leaders and submit to their authority...

    Hebrews 13:17 Today's English Version
Obey your leaders and follow their orders. They watch over your souls without resting...

    Hebreo 13:17 New Pilipino Version

(THAT'S IN THE BIBLE!)

kaya nakakatawa ang mga katha-katha...ANG IGLESIA AY MAY SAKDAL NA PAGKAKAISA HINDI SA PANGALAN NG KANDIDATO...

ANG PAGKAKAISA ng INC ay sa PANGALAN NI CRISTO!

DON'T YOU WONDER WHY IT IS ONLY THE INC THAT IS CAPABLE OF PERFORMING SUCH PERFECT UNITY?

IT IS BECAUSE UNITY IS THE MARK OF TRUE CHRISTIANS!
