"Ipaglaban mo nang puspusan ang pananampalataya. Panghawakan mong mabuti ang buhay na walang hanggan, dahil diyan ka tinawag ng Diyos nang ipahayag mo sa harap ng maraming saksi ang iyong pananalig kay Cristo." I Tim. 6:12

INC Giving Philippines

Wow, INC Giving Project is now in the Philippines! We will expect future INC giving activities in our local congregation from now.

Here is the Official facebook page of the INC giving Philippines.

About

“Whenever you possibly can, do good to those who need it.” Proverbs 3:27 TEV

Description
The mission of the INC Giving Project is to extend the presence of the Iglesia ni Cristo members to its community partners by supporting their efforts to provide solutions to help families succeed and achieve.

And their Official website.

The very first activity was held at the local congregation of Pilot, Metro Manila Central:

The very first INC Giving activity here in the Philippines starts here – at the Locale of Pilot, District of Metro Manila Central.

Some of you may remember that a few weeks ago, this locale was dedicated to our Lord God. And now, to introduce us to the community where this church now stands, the district decided to conduct this INC Giving activity in order to extend our help to the people of this community and to our brethren who are also living nearby.

Feeding the kids: Our free merienda this afternoon also aims to help in meeting the nutritional needs of the children of this community.

This is one of the services we have today – The Livelihood Training. You’ll see Sis. Patricia Pena teaching participants how to make puto pao. Puto pao is a Filipino-style dimsum which is great for snacks, and as a business, they require minimal capital and are easy to make.

Free medical consultation and free dental check up are also available here at INC Giving. Our free dental care is a service well-appreciated by the community surrounding our new locale. Here, people can get free check-up, extraction and some medicine for their tooth aches

Brethren lawyers are also here to help those who seek legal advice, and answer any questions they may have about the law and certain procedures they may have to go through in court.

Also something to check out here at INC Giving: the free bone scan sponsored by a leading adult milk brand. In truth, most of those with osteoporosis, mostly women, don’t even realize they have it until they do a bone test. After the test, the patients can submit their form for a free milk drink.

Job placement is also available for our fellowmen of this community who are unemployed and seeking for job matching his/her knowledge and skills.

The line at the Children’s Show and Games area is filled with kids excited to watch the program and join the games that has been in stored for them.

Scrabble is a word game in which two to four players score points by forming words from individual lettered tiles on a gameboard marked with a 15-by-15 grid. It develops our English vocabulary! Board games are not just fun, they’re also educational!

The brethren of Metro Manila Central also prepared some entertainment for the attendees of this event. A good way to make people smile as they wait for their turn at the doctors’ and dentists’ services area.
