Is the "Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ)" the Church of Manalo?

One of the childish and old, very old attacks of CHILDISH people is on how they call Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ). They feel glad whenever INC members get mad about it and they feel joy in their hearts whenever they insult the name of Christ.


What?

Yes. Whenever they insult the church calling it as Iglesia ni Cristo ni Manalo(Church of Christ of Manalo) or Iglesia ni Cristong tao(Church of Man-Christ) they also insult the name of our Lord Jesus Christ because the church's name is "church OF CHRIST".



Why "Church of Christ"?

Because Christ said in Matt. 16:18:

“I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.”

The Church what Bro. Felix Manalo preached was the Church of Christ and not about establishing his own church. If the doctrines and teachings he preached are not written and nowhere to find in the Scriptures, well it is maybe should be called "Church of Manalo". But, if what he preached are all in the scriptures, there is no reason for those CHILDISH people to insult Christ's church especially Christ's name.



Is there any connection between the church and Christ's name?

There is, in fact in Acts 4:12 here is what stated:

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."”

What all are hoping for is related to Christ's name--> Salvation.

If Bro. Felix preached about "Church of Manalo" which is nowhere to be found in the Scriptures, then the members of that "Church of Manalo" do not have any hope for the salvation. But the question is, Did Bro. Felix Manalo preach and established a church that named Iglesia ni Cristo ni Manalo(Church of Christ of Manalo) or Iglesia ni Manalo(Church of Manalo)?

The truth is. NONE. If you insist, you can show us any proof that what Bro. Felix preached was about his church, and not about the church that was established by Christ.



The Name of Christ's Church

I will not give any opinion, let us just read ok?^^

If you insist...

But if you demand that the Iglesia ni Cristo should be named Iglesia ni Cristo ni Manalo or Iglesia ni Manalo only because Bro. Felix was the one who preached the church in the Philippines in that time (As if Christ will go to the Philippines just to preach his church as what he did in the 1s century), then to be fair, ill also demand that all Christian religions should be named after their founder's/leader's names:

Preached by the Apostles

The bible says:

"And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. "He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved ; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned." Mark 16:15-16

Jesus said these things to his disciples and/or to the apostles, but when they preach, they did not preached their own teachings, but the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ. If that so, it will be also like Bro. Felix Manalo, i do not say he is an apostle, but God's messenger in these last days. What he preached starting in 1913 was not teachings and doctrines that he invented or created, but all came from the BIBLE, from the teachings of Christ and from the words of God...

So, if you insult and mock the Iglesia ni Cristo, you also mock Christ:

"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. " Matt 10: 22

Instead of getting hurt and losing hope, here is what the bible says:

"and that you are not afraid of those who are against you. All of this is proof that your enemies will be destroyed but that you will be saved by God." Phil. 1:28

"In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted," II tim. 3:12

"If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first." John 15:18

"People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow me. But when they do, you will be blessed." Matt. 5:11

"Rejoice and be glad, because you have a great reward waiting for you in heaven. People did the same evil things to the prophets who lived before you." Matt. 5:12

"When people insult you because you follow Christ, you are blessed, because the glorious Spirit, the Spirit of God, is with you." I Pet. 4:14

It is not WE, members who should be ashamed as we are Iglesia ni Cristo or members of the INC bear Christ's name, but those IDOL WORSHIPERS and practice and guilt of Idolatry!
