"Ipaglaban mo nang puspusan ang pananampalataya. Panghawakan mong mabuti ang buhay na walang hanggan, dahil diyan ka tinawag ng Diyos nang ipahayag mo sa harap ng maraming saksi ang iyong pananalig kay Cristo." I Tim. 6:12

Attacks of Soriano of ADD in newspaper

I just found this picture of a newspaperarticle where in it tackles about the offerings in the Church of Christ with Soriano. It is entitled “Daan (T.V program of Soriano) blasts INC Donations”. It should be “Offerings” and not donations, for me its different because donation is like you are giving to a beggar, the money you give to them is only an EXCESS and not like what we offer to God. Offerings in the church were contributions of the members, that is our duty and obligation to Christ’s church because it is written in the bible therefore, is that OUR FAULT TO FOLLOW AND OBEY ONE OF THE TEACHINGS FOUND IN THE BIBLE?

What we offer is not like when you are giving donations to a foundation and etc. that if just we LIKE then we will give, no, but we GIVE IMPORTANCE in OBEYING such teachings written in the bible that “one should give what is in one’s heart and not forced”! For no intelligent nonmember who knows something about the church would agree that when the collection of offerings comes, the deacon and deaconess ASKS and wait in EACH OF THE members who ATTENDS ON THE WORSHIP SERVICE for their money. Only it is another lies and accusation done by himself Soriano and his followers.

Another accusation is that deacon and deaconess ASKS MONEY to nonmembers who attend the worship services. Only a fool would believe such thing! If you notice, deacon and deaconess collects offerings row by row for the ORDERLINESS of the worship gatherings and not for the interest of the church. Because if the members will one by one stand and walk and drop their offerings to the front, WHERE WILL BE THE ORDERLINESS IN THE WORSHIP FOR GOD? The worship services will just be ruin because the members need to go to the front, drop their contributions and go back to their seat WHICH WOULD USE SOME 20 mins. Depends on how many and how big the house of worship is.

There is no individual nonmember would agree that deacon/deaconess ASKS offerings to visitors in the worship service…

and when you say ask, its verbal like saying “Where’s your offering?” Does it really happens in the Church? NO!
Offerings in the church is not a “REQUIREMENT”, for it is a duty and an obligation to God. For God commands Christ’s church to preach the words of God into the world, how could any church preach unto the world without this “$”. Very common sense, and don’t be surprised if every thing in the church is criticized that’s how the forces of evil does.

Want to know more ABOUT THE OFFERINGS IN THE CHURCH OF CHRIST? Just click the link.

I just want to summarize… The offerings of the members in (below) goes….

#1 Thursday and Sunday (worship services) offerings
#2 “Tanging handugan” (local or/and district) offerings [optional]
#3 Anniversary(July) or/and Yearly(December) thanksgiving offerings

The thing is, where do those offerings go? The primary purposes (above) were:

#1 For evangelical works like the television, radio and magazine expenses and etc.
#2 These are optional: (district offerings) helping other local congregation on their renovation/repainting and etc. of their house of worship. (local offerings) for the expenses of the house of worship like telephone, electric, water bills and etc.
#3 For the building and buying lands for houses of worship

Having a “Lagak” is only an option, is just helps members to save money until Dec. comes, for THESE IS ALSO WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE. Want to know about it if it is written in the holy scriptures? Ask our ministers!
All other ACCUSATIONS about these were done none other than SORIANO, for he do not know about it because he is not of instrument of God, he is the one who asks HUGE money to his members, just WATCH THIS:

See? Clearly he is guilty of what he said in the newspaper… “…a financial institution masquerading into a religious sect.” And yes, this is really suspicious! Asking money to his members in the front of the camera!
Huh, that’s why, a gag show spoof Soriano and his t.v program Ang Dating Daan called “Ang Daming Daan” (There are many hundred [peso bills]), what’s in this segment?

Ang Daming Daan - (English: The Many Ways/There Are Many Hundred (-peso bills) A parody of a popular religious program, Ang Dating Daan, interpreting some things. It is hosted by Bro. Elvis Soriano (Joey De Leon) and Brother Hud (Mike Nacua). Every time a person asks a question, he/she would pay P100.

"...There is also another segment based on Ang Dating Doon, this time calling it Ang Daming Daan, which was shown on ABC's gag show Teka Mona! This segment was hosted by Joey de Leon as Bro. Elvis Soriano (a parody of Bro. Eli Soriano with an Elvis look) who usually has a guitar, and Mike "Pekto" Nacua as Brother Hud, Bro. Elvis' Judas Iscariot-like assistant. the concept was as same as Ang Dating Doon, except for the fact that every question is worth P100.00 and it will be put into a fishbowl after the question was answered (a parody of one of the anomalities of Ang Dating Daan exposed by Iglesia ni Cristo wherein Bro. Eli charges his followers with a large sum of money)."

I have watched this gag show and it is very funny! (hahaha) They even have the show’s song:

Kayo bay mayrong ta(nong)
At gustong malaman
Mga kasagutan, sa kung saan saan
Murang mura lamang, sang tanong sang daan
(Magtanong na darling, sa ang daming daan)

I try to translate it in English^_^

“Do you have questions?
And want to know
Answers, from everywhere
Very cheap, 1 question 1 one hundred peso”

(Hahaha) Just play the video while looking those phrases!

That’s hows Soriano and his [blind and aggressive] followers do the game! Tsk. Tsk. By the way, this is still my question, WHERE IS MR. SORIANO?!! While (the forces of evil) his other members do blogs/sites, joins forums, commenting on blogs/sites and etc, that makes black propagandas in the Church of Christ?

to be continued...
