I Tim. 6:12

Eh ano ba talaga?

New International Version (©2011)
Your throne, O God, will last for ever and ever; a scepter of justice will be the scepter of your kingdom.

Bakit "God is your throne" at hindi "O God"?

Isa. 43:10

"Noong una pa man ako'y nagpahayag na.

"But of the  Son he says,  'Your throne, O God, is  {Or [God is your throne]}  forever and   ever'   ..."  New  Revised Standard version

"But  of   the Son  he says,  'God is your throne  forever and ever! ... The Complete Bible: An American Translation

"But of the Son he says, 'God is your throne forever and ever!'..." Goodspeed translation

"He says of the Son, `God is thy throne for ever and ever,..." Moffat Translation

Ano ang ibig sabihin ng "God is your throne"?

BMBB

"Thy throne, given of God, endureth for ever and ever; the sceptre of thy kingdom." Jewish Publications Society of America Translation
"Your throne is from God, for ever and ever, the sceptre of your kingship a sceptre of justice." New Jerusalem Bible

Ang ibig palang sabihin ng "God is your throne" ay "Your throne is given or from God" sa madaling sabi, galing sa Diyos ang TRONO o KAPANGYARIHAN ni Kristo.

Ayon sa dictionary:

"Throne is defined as the power of a king,..."  source: yourdictionary.com

"The power, dignity, or rank of such a personage;..." source: thefreedictionary.com

I Cor. 15: 27-28

  1. THE SON CAN CALL THE FATHER, GOD; BECAUSE HE IS GOD. IN THE SAME WAY, THE FATHER CAN CALL THE SON, GOD; BECAUSE HE IS GOD. JUST BECAUSE THE FATHER IS GOD AND THE SON IS GOD, THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THERE ARE TWO GODS. GOD IS INFINITE AND INDIVISIBLE, HIM BEING TWO PERSONS DOES NOT MAKE HIM TWO GODS.

IF README IS TWO PERSONS; HE BECOMES TWO HUMAN BEINGS. WHY? BECAUSE HE IS FINITE AND DIVISIBLE.
IF GOD IS TWO PERSONS; HE STILL REMAINS ONE GOD. WHY? BECAUSE HE IS INFINITE AND INDIVISIBLE.

    1. A HUMAN cannot be TWO PERSONS so there is no way i can be that.
GOD cannot be TWO PERSONS o THREE PERSONS because the bible teaches us that THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD and that is the FATHER, when we say ONLY ONE, THERE IS NO OTHER.

Jesus Christ call his Father "God" not just because his Father is God, but because HIS FATHER is HIS GOD.

The Father will not acknowledge his son as his "GOD" or as another GOD because he said, as what written in the bible that HE IS GOD and besides him there is no other.

  2. Jeffrey Trinidad,

The more you explain your stand guided by your worldly wisdom, the more you are caught in the web of confusion. The explanations of read me are crystal-clear and aside from presenting solid proofs from the Bible, he even set the logics of relationships. The Bible clearly states that there is really only one God, the Father and IF THERE WILL BE ANOTHER GOD WHOM HE WILL ACKNOWLEDGE AS HIS GOD, then He will never be the TRUE GOD. I used to be a Trinitarian-believer also and as far as the power of this false god is concerned, these so-called three persons in "one god" are co-equal yet the Bible does not only support such man-made doctrine but moreover against the true teachings of God, of Christ and of the Apostles.

    God sent Christ (John 5:30)
God sends the Holy Spirit (John 14:26)
Christ sends also the Holy Spirit (John 15:26)

How about the Christ and the Holy Spirit, did it happen (even just once) that both sent God the Father? Even in this very simple example, it proves the falsity of your belief regarding Trinity as far as "power" is concerned.

You said that the Father can call the Son God because He is God. I don't know if you are just hardheaded, a blind or trying to mock God with your foolishness or pride:

"Do not tremble, do not be afraid. Did I not proclaim this and foretell it long ago? You are my witnesses. Is there any God besides me? No, there is no other Rock; I know not one." (Isaiah 44:8 NIV)

If God has proclaimed that HE DOES NOT EVEN KNOW ANY (EVEN ONE)god besides Himself, how much more calling somebody a/the "GOD" who in the first place DOES NOT EXIST!

  3. to Jeffrey Trinidad

-to know the real meaning of the verse written in Heb. 1:8, original Greek New Testament will be helpful. Because in Greek text it says "PROS DE TON UION O THRONOS SOU O THEOS..." (Heb. 1:8)
there's an article "O"(the) or "HO"(the; with breathing mark) before the word "THEOS"(God), so the correct translation of that verse is "But of the Son he says, 'God is your throne..." (Heb. 1:8)

(Hebrews 1:8, The Kingdom Interlinear Translation of the Greek Scriptures, 1969)
