Numbers of adherents, a big deal?

A jealous Catholic defender is again making posts on his blog quoting the MEDIA, yes the media again, about the total membership in the Iglesia ni Cristo.

It is a fact that the church did not ever published an exact numbers of members in history of the INC. Nonmembers make different estimations, from local to foreign media, different institutions, individuals, politicians and so on.

Some says its 10 million, so what?
8 million, so what?
6 million, so what?
4 million, so what?
2 million, SO WHAT?
1 million, SOO WHAAT??
500,000, SOOO WHAAAT???
100,000, SOOOO WHAAAAT????
1,000, SOOOOO WHAAAAAT?????

even it is just 10 people, SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHHAAAAAATTTTTT??????


Who cares anyway?

Why is it that they are the ones(nonmembers) who are AFFECTED about the number of adherents in the Iglesia ni Cristo? Is it that WE are the ones that SHOULD BE affected if that will be the case???

Is it the INC who makes the estimation?

Who should be blamed by the jealous Catholic Defender, as he claimed, that the TRUE numbers of members are only 1,000,000 or 2 million plus and accuse that the INC makes bloated figures, is it really the INC who does that? Who should this Catholic defender blame?

Let us ask Catholic.com:

"The Iglesia keeps the exact number of members secret, but it is estimated to be between three million and ten million worldwide. It is larger than the Jehovah’s Witnesses, a better known sect (which also claims to be Christ’s true Church)."

The ancient Israel was the first nation of God, he did not choose them because they are many or the majority:

“The Lord did not set his love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples.” Deut. 7:7

In time of Noah, only 8 people were saved by God, not the many:

“And did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;” II pet. 2:5

When Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed, only LOT and his 2 daughters were saved:

So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived. Gen. 19:29

Now, i am saying this to this jealous Catholic defender and to others who still make estimations and accused the INC as if the estimates of numbers of adherents came from the INC, i say,

SO WHAT???
