Mother of "harlots"

"Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me,“Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,"
Revelation 17:1

The Church established by the devil, is described to be the "MOTHER OF HARLOTS" (in Jesus parable)... Let us continue to Rev. 17:15

"Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues."

The "many waters" upon which the woman is seated, stand for people, multitudes and nations. Therefore, the woman is universal in extent. Is there a church which claim itself to be UNIVERSAL? Hmmmm... We all know what church is that!

"The Roman Catholic Church alone is Catholic. The meaning of the word Catholic is universal" (Siya ang inyong pakinggan Ang aral katoliko p.83)

On the score of universality, it is claimed that it is one distinguishing mark of the true church. But what does the bible say about the extent of SATAN's deception? Let us read:

"And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world;..." Rev. 12:9

What does the bible say about satan? The devil is the deceiver of the world. The Catholic Church, as the Revelation points out, is the woman seated upon many waters, or universal. Therefore, again, what church utilized by Satan in his deception? mmmm.... ^_^

Does not the bible give the name of the woman or the universal church that has been deceived by Satan? Rev. 17:5 says:

"and upon her forehead a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF THE HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."

The universal church, or the woman seated upon many waters, has a name: Babylon is the name. It is a bad woman or a bad church, for the bible introduces it as a harlot. It is said to be the mother of harlots, so from it would rise different churches, bearing the same stigma that it has; they too, are bad churches, classified in the parable as WEEDS.

I repeat, Babylon is the name of the woman or the church. The catholic bible gives in the footnote of I Peter 5:13 the equivalent of Babylon. It says, “Babylon: Rome” And the book

“The Papal Encyclicals” says:

“There are no doubt that Babylon means Rome.”

Is there a church, universal or catholic, that bears the name of Rome? Again, let us quote the book “Siya ang inyong Pakinggan: Ang aral na Katoliko” says:

“The Roman Church alone is truly Catholic. The meaning of the word Catholic is universal,”.

Do we have proofs to show that the Catholic Church is the “MOTHER OF HARLOTS” or the church from which sprang the many and proliferating sects and religious organizations? Hmmm… We all know that, just research the history of churches that have the connection with the Catholic Church! I give one example. In the book “Religion in the United States” says:

“ The Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States is one of the eighteen independent religious bodies that grew out of the Church of England…” The principal characteristics of the protestant Episcopal church have thus been derived from the Church of England, which in 1534, after a long process of separation, became INDEPENDENT OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH…”

And many other churches that branched out in the “mother church”, but describes by the bible as “Mother of Harlots”!

Acts 4:10, 12 let us read:

“then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”

SALVATION IS ONLY IN THE NAME OF CHRIST. His name borne by his Church, so it is called Church of Christ or Iglesia Ni Cristo in tagalong. There is no salvation in all the churches with diff. names, especially from the “mother of most churches” which claim to be the true church built by Christ by saying it is have its history root back in the 1^st century, but the teachings? Ah, ah ah!!! Cannot be determine if it also have it!
